When I got a message in Instagram from Julian Galeano saying “Hi, I am the guy that is having a photo session with you” the curiosity made me quickly browse his feed and I got excited to see that he was a professional model. Don’t get me wrong, I love to work with couples that have never done a photo shooting before, but having a photo session with a model is a treat for any photographer, because you know he is going to deliver 5 perfect calculated poses per second.
I arrived to his bungalow and this Colombian, raised in USA, opened the door with a lolly pop in the mouth and a twinkle in his eye. I knew at that moment that it was going to be a great shooting and I didn’t underestimate him when I took 6 memory cards with me.
During all the shooting he continue saying “You are the boss” even when I asked him to do the most impossible things like posing underwater and falling from a pool with style.
When I asked about his tattoo and nickname “Principe” he started laughing and told me the story behind : he booked an Airbnb in Rio de Janeiro for his holidays with his friends, when he arrived realised that it was not up his expectations and wanted to move out, his friends teased him and called him “principe” so he sneak up during the night and got the ink, so he owns it.
