Ia Orana lovers!
When I got in contact with Sarah and Josh, I have to admit I got pretty excited! I have had a few solo models before but never a couple!
Don’t get me wrong, I love all my couples! Especially those who have never done a photo shooting before. I like to make them feel relaxed and help them with the posing. But having two professional models is a whole different experience allowing me to push my creativity.
Sarah @iamsarahharris and Josh @wanderwithwilliams are the most followed couple in New Zealand . My job was to create trendy and crispy images for their Instagram feed while showing the breathtaking beauty of the Four Seasons Bora Bora.
Since the moment they opened the door of the bungalow, I felt the kiwi good vibe! They were super easy going and had lots of ideas. The weather was perfect and the overwater bungalow was perfectly oriented to take some pictures in the deck.
The first assignment was some candid pictures of the lovebirds waking up in their overwater bungalow, enjoying the view while sipping coffee, cuddling under the bed duvet, even if is not cold at all!
Couldn’t be more instagrammable!
Because Josh is adventurous and not afraid of heights, we ask him to go around the fence and kiss Sarah, and end up like this. Quite cute, right?
Then, we headed to the beach and in the way, we found the traditional canoe outrigger that the Four Seasons uses for their wedding ceremonies. (a symbol of the Polynesian culture). Of course we had to stop because Sarah wanted to tried! Adding to the shot, the flower crown was just the icing on the cake!
After the canoe, Sarah got excited again, she wanted a picture in one of the housekeeping bicycles , we asked the maid for permission and she started laughing and riding while Josh was asking for a ride.
We arrived to the beach to get some more pictures stopping in the way for some greenery, lush garden shoots.
Then, we went to a secret place, the secluded spa, and nobody was in the outside vitality pool. The shooting was going so smooth, we had the place for ourselves!
And because we are in Bora Bora, nothing is more reflexing than to finish the shooting in the water : lots of fish and fun dreamy mermaid shots.
During the shooting I couldn’t help to ask how they met. The story is taht they were working together in a fantasy shooting and each of them thought that the other one was going to be arrogant. Soon they realised that they were made for each other! Never judge a book by its cover.
This couple is sweet, grounded and beautiful inside and outside. And Josh just proposed to Sarah during a romantic dinner after the shooting (and of course she said yes!) Follow her love story in Instagram and stay tuned because there is going to be a wedding!
