“Katherine & I have always wished to visit Bora Bora & like many this destination was very high on our bucket list. Our wedding story started in June 2017 when we travelled from our home Auckland to the beautiful Whitehaven Beach in the Whitsunday Islands of Queensland, Australia where I asked Katherine to Marry me after 9 years of building a life together. We then decided on a small wedding party of just immediate family & what better way to celebrate our relationship than to create a lifelong memory at a place we have endeavoured to travel for such a long time.
It was at this point where we found the amazing resort of the St Regis Bora Bora. Working from a distance & exclusively on the phone & email the wedding team at St Regis made us feel incredibly comfortable with the entire process. The team introduced us to Damien & proceeded to recommend him as their premium photographer for their events. Working with 100% trust we did not hesitate to ask Damien to be a massive part of our special day & boy was this the best thing we did.
Damien was incredible for the entire day & provided memories for us that will stay with us for our entire lives. His local knowledge & understanding of the light, how it reacts with the surroundings & ultimately its effect on the end product is something that we will be forever grateful for.
